I got roped into writing AH stuff for SimHQ  (scary)... and maybe dogfighter is doing what I'm doing right now... flying it and figuring out what 1.08 is actually about instead of whipping up something a mere couple of days after its release and screwing it up. To write a review means ya gotta review it first.  :) Don't worry... you'll see stuff on dogfighter about 1.08. It's a pretty significant release.

I have NO DESIRE to be a playnet subscriber.

Too bad for dogfighter.  It WAS one of my daily sites,

People have been spitting on my fellow Vietnam vets, and I for thirty plus years. As recently as last Wednesday,  Hoollywood was still holding up the same tired baby killer sign, I saw at the San Francisco Airport 33 years ago.

I swore back then. If it ever came to be my turn to join the silent majority, it wasn't going to happen.

I am not going to stand silent while anyone takes verbal shots at our young troops.  It may not amount to much.  But I am going to boycott any product associated with anyone taking such liberties

I have already deleted Furball from my bookmarks.

The "Dogfighter Network" has many affiliates, including Furball.
Dogfighter itself is a separate entity.
My guess is tomorrow you'll see an update with AH stuff discussed.  Check the date of hte last update -- it's before 1.08.
The Playnet stuff annoys me too, especially since I'm a netscape user.  If you're on IE, it remembers your password.  But see my comments on the other thread for why I think they did it.  Times are tough, guys.

Can you guys suggest more sights? I check our BBS and dogfighter daily. Are there anymore devoted to online flight sims along the same lines as the old dogfighter, ie reviews, articles?
