Sure, they are very solid when I fly my plane into the side of them. But last night for instance, my GV was bombed right through the top of an enemy BH. Then a couple of nights ago, I lost a Tiger after I'd driven deep into the indestructible hangar. A B24 level bombed all the hangars on the big pad and sure enough, my GV was destroyed. I drove an M16 over to the Hangar afterwards and there was the bomb crater in the heart of the hangar.

So, it seems bombs (and presumably rockets?) pass through hangars as if they were holograms, but airplanes and shells do not. What gives?

I can see some reason to justify why bombs go through hangars...
BUT... The same thing happens when trying to bomb a shore battery. You have to drop a bomb DIRECTLY onto the battery, if you hit the hill the battery sits on the bombs go through it and hit the ground. Doing no damage to the gun.
