Join Requests

Is it possible to turn off this option...or maybe in a future patch make it a check box if you want to have people join you? Ive always been very willing to have people hop in...but un the AvA, being less people, it happens way too much getting a request window in the middle of a fight.

I always tell them its better to text request first...but its always a numbers guy, a new guy, who doesnt know what it does when he requests ,and its one after another.

If nothing else..have a notice that pops up on the join option, that asks him if he used text first...if he says yes, then he can click join.

the thing you do, is tyupe in .showjoin 0

then you leave their request up for a bit, before saying accept 5 mins after. by then they are usually in their own plane, but it will make them die instantly, and they will join your plane. that'll teach em haha

i've done that to several guys in the MA and the TA lol. always make me chuckle

brutal, poof! :lol

I try to remember to use the dot command for showjoin, or hit the "use msg" button on the first annoying popup from 442239341123443. It is almost funny how the join requests seem to always come at the worst possible time.

Platano, here's how to use the join command.

there are two ways.

1.  first make sure that Filth is in the arena and flying. Then type  .join Filth  in the text buffer. don't forget the period at the beginning!

or,

2. Hit escape to bring up the clipboard. Click on "roster".  Scroll down until you see Filth.  Right click on "Filth."  select "join" and left click on it.

You can only join Filth. All other players should be disabled now I believe.

Do this repeatedly until I personally see in my text buffer, "You shot down Filth"

This may be my only hope.
