Whats your adult beverage of choice? My gawd, I've never seen the A's, (In 33 yrs of fandom) play a sloppier defensive game. We could have mailed that performance in. In any event, now I can turn my attention to rooting for the Mariners.. :)

My boys know how to turn it up in October.

It'll be Mariners v. Yankees!!!
  ;)

That was a SSSSWWWWEEETTT game! I have to admit that I was worried for the 1st 2 innings. Giambi is a big threat with that bat but without all of those errors committed by the A's, it would have been quite a bit tougher.

And how about that 8th inning catch made by my boy Jeter??   :D

Next stop....SEATTLE!!

Hey Rip...it's time to put our bets on the table.   ;)

Yankee,

Jeter is so good I wish he would break a leg. Gawd this is a nightmare. I hate the gawdamnyankees, (yes that's one word in my house) almost as much as I hate the Dodgers. But I can admit when we been whipped. What's your drink of choice? Scotch? Tequila? Beer? Maybe next year. Of course, the A's need to re-sign Giambi in the worst way and those gawdamnyankees are going to be bidding for him with that limitless bank account. At least the A's pitchers are young and locked into long term deals for the next couple years. I gotta find some positive here. Oh hell..I need a drink....<sob>

I might add, the reason the Mariners won is this:

When I got home, Moyer had the sacks full, with 1 out.  Score was 2-0 I believe.  Wife, 2 yr old and 5 yr old boys all had their Mariners shirts on...I ran upstairs, slipped into mine, came downstairs, and watched Moyer get out of the inning with a grounder into a double play!

Go Mariners...SOJO MOJO BABY!

Hey Crapgrame.

Don't be too hard on the A's. They did make the Yankees work for it. Welcome to the jungle baby!!!  ;)

Let's see....drink of choice...either Absolute Vodka or a nice, dry Chardonnay would be great.  :D

Rip...you are so on!! Same bet. You can get together with Crapgrame so you both can save on postage.  :p

My poor liver.

GO YANKEES!!!

not a bb fan but switched it over b4 I went to bed to see how the Yanks were doing. I caught the seventh innning stretch with the officer singing "God Bless America". Knocked my socks off, man did he have a voice. Then I caught the two oustanding plays by the Yanks 3rd baseman, best bb I've watched all year  :)

Go Braves !
er are they still in it??  :)
