BTW, you still got trouble uploading your avatar?

Make sure its max size 64x64 pixels and under 30,000 bytes. Im not sure which formats are supported, but GIF works for sure. Probably JPG as well. If you need help, point me towards your nose art, ill avatarize it for you.
