would love to see a fuse command in the ranges from 0-5 seconds. Enable you to try to "slide" bombs into hangers from low level, ect....

Also would be fun to send a bomb barreling, bouncing and sliding through planes on the runway before it blows up.... :D

What if the fuse could be even longer?  Minutes, maybe up to an hour?

Drop a 1000lb penetrator bomb.  It would leave a crater that looked like every other crater, with no other sign of bombage.

At the appointed time...bee-osquared-emm!   :D

You could drop one in front of a VH, or on an approach route, and leave it to go off unexpectedly.  Little surprises left behind from when you took the base from the bad guys, and such.  Leave one on a road or train tracks, to hit the next supply convoy.

Heh...Imagine carpet bombing a spawn with these things, with variously set fuses.  Or do the same, but set them all to go up at once!

i would really love to see this, setting a fuse, and getting rid of the 800 ft bomb drop thing. it would mean that you could come in really low in a fighter or something, swoop over a tank, and get a bomb right alongside him. of course, it would take a little skill to do right, but i would love to see it!

maybe make it so you can set a maximum delay of 20 secs. would be really fun i think. also, get rid of the 800ft arming distance, so that if someone is stupid enough to drop it too low without setting the fuse they die.

PLEASE HT??????????

im sure i might be able to send a crate of glenfiddich or something as a bribe lol

Would definitely help with NOE raids.

RAF Mossies often attacked in a low wave and a shallow dive wave - the latter had bombs fused to detonate on impact, the former had bombs with 11-second delay fuses.

The idea was that the low wave passed over the target, then cleared out, and were followed by the shallow divers who released at about 1,500 feet and who also immediately cleared out. The intention was for both sets of bombs to go off at the same time.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Remember doing that in AW. Would take off and as someone was vulching drop your bomb and the vulcher blew up if he was close enough to it....LOL...Was great way to ward of vulchers.

lol, that would be fun hehe

id really love to go noe and make bombs 'bounce' on the ground if you came in at a low angle, so that you could skim a bomb underneath a target. and it gives us older guys something new to learn for fun.

and with that bounce, it could also be modelled on water, and perhaps we would eventually see the bouncing bomb lol. im not holding up my hopes for that though, not for a while at least :lol

please HT? it would be soooo cool
