Adelphia to Time Warner, pros & cons?
« on: August 03, 2006, 09:59:37 AM »
Welp Adelphia went bye bye August first and I'll be migrating to Time Warner cable and I believe they use RoadRunner.
Besides the email change what can I expect from them regarding my cable and gaming experience?
Just talking internet service and not the cable TV part.
I guess it could have been worse, I wasnt one of the 'lucky' ones that got Comcast.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

Time Warner should be a huge inprovement.
It depends on how much they spend to bring up your system to their specs.

RR is fantastic for high speed - I was a beta tester for them when they first fired it up here years ago

I just got my "welcome to Time Warner" letter last weekend

Honestly, I'm glad to see them here.  I've heard from others who have their cable TV, Internet and Phone all on one service.  I'd like to do that if the price is right.  Vonage has been fine but an actual line would be nicer.

And, all on one bill
