Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) , MMX, 3DNow, ~1.3GHz

Id say therin lies your problem

I my last CPU ran at 1.7 and got only an OK framerate (forget large furballs though)

I can only look with horror at what yours must get

you can step the cpu up to a 2400+ tbred no problem .

you still need  to get the 4.12's installed to run ah the best though .

333mhz FSB 256kb L2
Socket A
Model# sda2400dut3d
op freq 1.667 ghz  .13um

I am asumming this is the correct one (its been a long day getting myself all geeked up on this stuff...head still hurts)
Okay next question is do yall think this is going to get my fr up to a good level or are they still gonna suck just not as bad as they do now?

the "sempron" isnt a true 2400+ tbred ... a 2400+tbred (or athlon as its called) is 2.0 ghz   I dont think your msi mb will support a sempron correctly .
(i looked thru the bios updates and didnt see it , I did see alot of 2400+ combo's though )
it will have a AXDA2400DKV3C  part number . or similar Starting with  A

The game should be running 99%.  DirectX is designed to make use of all available CPU cycles.  We are talking about when nothing is running at all, the CPU usage should be bouncing between 0 and 1 or 2%.
