1. Best Ever     (it's ok to be somewhat broad, you can include Band of Brothers and Bravehart, but I don't want to see any "The Last Starfighter"

2. Worst ever

3. Best Performance

4. Best Line

5. One that should be re-made

ME?

2. Pearl Harbor, ( I went to see a war movie and the worst love story EVER broke out )
3. R. Lee Emery, Full Metal Jacket
4. You smell that?............, Apocalypse Now
5.Battle of Britain.

1. best? all quiet on the western front. great film.

2. worst? does alexander count?...no?   i'll say pearl harbor was pretty awfully too.

3. best performance? - john wayne, sands of iwo jima.  heh. just loved that one growing up.

4. best line - Ted Striker: My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.
Elaine Dickinson: When will you be back?
Ted Striker: I can't tell you that. It's classified.
- airplane! not a war movie...but it is a war scene.

5. remake?  that's easy.

the longest day.
this thread is doomed.

Id agree with tapakegs except #5.

Midway or The Battle of the Bulge should be re-made. Especially Midway.
