'God Mode' in MA

God's View... Birds eye view...Observation View...whatever you wish to call it.... from Tower or Ground Gun in the MA.

get in position (tower or ground gun)
press F3 or F5  ( you get different perspectives and movements from each)
now press F8.  
if you press numberpad 8 you will elivate.
if you press numberpad 2 you will declinate.
(number pad functions show you different angles etc)
Now use your joystick to rotated left and right.

If you have used F3 and are in a ground gun...the gun will rotate with you
If you have used F5 and are in a gound gun...it will remain where it is.
Hit F1 to rotate gound gun and repeat process.

This mode is most excellent for watching GV's coming towared your base.  You can guide friendly GV's right to them.  You can also use this mode to score some hits on GV's that are WAAAYYYY out there.  Smoked a Flacker about 3K out once...boy was he mad ;-)  

You can also use this mode to spot GV's hiding in your hangers, since you get to see their icons from the GroundGun or you can rotate/fly around the field and listen for their engine/creep noise.

External view and CMEye mode are two completely different things.

Extrernal view lets you pan around an external view.

CMEye mode lets you fly around in a sort of 'invisable' plane and control it similar to a plane.

CMEye mode is NOT , repeat NOT available in the Main arena.

I think we are getting wrapped around the axle here on terminology.

many players refer to the external elevated view as "God Mode."  Why?  because you can levitate above a field  and SEE for miles.

It may not be the "technically" correct term...but that is what a lot of players call it.

Perception IS reality.   Most people didn't even know there was a CMEye functionality in the game until this post.   In the MA if someone says "I'm going to God Mode and look around."  They are refering to the External Elevated View.
