Reloading and memorised preferences
« on: September 06, 2006, 01:17:58 PM »
I whish that during rearming we were allowed to vary the loadout. Battles being dynamic things, I dont see why a pilot after making a sortie, needs to up again with the exact same loadout. maybe he needs less fuel, or added bombs or less ammo???? I whish we were able to use the .ord/.fuel commands during a rearm. Ofcourse the rearming shall then take an added 30-50 secs from the time the command was typed.

Also since the game is capable of memorising stuff like gunsight alpha per plane, can we also not add auto combat trim and tracers to the list. I seem to keep forgetting to reset them. When I land my P38, then go up an osti only to find i cant see what Im shooting at.
(yeah I know, im too damn lazy)

that it should do already. even for the different gunner positions.

if it isn't first thing i'd check is if the files in the settings forlder or the folder itself is "read only"

Mustaine, mate, I think you misread my post. I need to take more of them English classes i guess....;) :p

But my post was that since it can memorise alpha setting for gunsights INDIVIDUALLY for each plane, could it also not memorise the auto combat trim and tracers settings PER PLANE. For e.g.:
P38: Tracers off, auto combat trim off.
KI61: Tracers off, auto combat trim on
Bf110: Tracers on, auto combat trim on
(and so on, you get the point).
