Now let me say this,
I know ur spoz to stay in the thread to keep things nice and tiddy, but your post got so full of unrelevant replys I chose to do it this way.
{like friends talking to each other in your post about totally other stuff, how disrespectful. What do they call that, thread stomping?}

ok,lets try this--Fighter arena??
for aerial combat only
no takeable bases
no bombers
no ord at all on any plane
limited number of planes available
plane set would change every 24 hrs.
no ground ack
no troops
just aerial combat
good idea?------bad idea?
i think it may also aleiviate some of the arena cap problems

The problem is getting the Fighter types to go there, see they (some) of them love to kill Bombers and especialy Goons ,,,{what a chalange}.
But realy they prob like the action of the Squads stiring up the bases to get them TGTs to kill.
Maybe we could get them drones to shooot at !!!

I dont mean to be curt 1Boner, but its called the DA, I think it supplies all the requirements you listed, or could be changed,or try the H2H thingee,
and if any given arena is designed properly it can have the center of the map devoted to Fighter Area, Fighters and GVs with bases that cant be taken or affect the winning of the map.
Ask SpyChimp, he is designing a new map as we text.
