never got a reply that my skin for the p38J "Black Market Babe" was recieved when I sent it on january 24th.

so I just submitted an updated version of the skin that has more refinements and more improved detailing than the origional version of my p38J skin. hopefully if they add the skin they will use this version its much better

its very refined no loose threads or anything untidy on the entire aircraft

heres a pic of my two 475th FG 432nd FS birds.. a p38G and P38J. they will look good together

Great stuff Fester. Really amazing work.

If you ever do get so inclined, a nice 80th FS G model would be most welcome to go with X-Virgin.

hehe guppy i am still resurecting old skin projects...
my oldest yet to me the most compelling skin i have unfinished is my p51d skin of LOUIV. i gave up on it trying to synchronize the shading and lines and rivets separately on the camoflage and metal parts. it was so frustrating i shelved it. but am trying to sort it out again to see if I can make it into somthing im satisfied with.

You going with OD camo right? I hate all those blue camo'd attempts

Fencer...with Fester tied up doing that 51 "stuff"...there are some K4s out there that need done im sure....

olive drab of course.
heres an old pic of the skin. only the metal is in a finished state. everything painted even the star is basiacally a placeholder devoid of shading and weathering...

You bare metal skins are the most life like i've every seen. Kev and Greebo are master skinners but you Sir are, imho, the best.

that P51 is already a masterpiece, dont stress on it i would fly it like that.
