I think the one for military service was scaled down to just 25 MT. Too impractical.

Even this 50MT test was scaled down from the bombs full 100MT capacity.

Still this is not a weapon, just an experiment. The soviets had no way to practically deliver it.

iirc tsar bomba was an airdropped test, from one of then kewl bear turboprops
