I looked at some maps that I recall had air starts on them. I also recall in the past practicing airstarts offline. I can't seem to find the setting that allows that. Has it been removed offline or what? Thanks.

Only some of the maps have airstarts, built Into the terrain, not a switchable item.

If you look at the Blue Grid where the airspawn is, you will see the airfield number and the Grid of Which Runway that spawns you.

Just a reminder there are no airstarts in BOB04.

Yeah I knew they weren't on all terrains including this one but I tried it on one or two that I had done in an event online--we had one just a couple of FSOs ago that had airstarts, think it was the Rhine terrain--and I didn't see the little grids where the airstarts were on my map offline like I did online during the event. That was what made me think it was some setting.

It's Rhine_1 that has the airstarts ( winter map ).

The other Rhine map doesn't.

Japan also has them, as does Aleutians.

Drano,
the new Training Arena terrain has multiple airstart points on it

you can launch at the 30k alt fileds from both the runway and as an Airstart

and the bombing practice Zone has airstarts as well.....and also targets to practice dropping on from 20k alt +

Outstanding! I'd only just DL'd that terrain in the last week or so. Nice layout. Something for everybody it looks like. Good to know that stuff's on there. Thanks bro.
