A huge <<S>> to Wasq and "the Finns"!

I want to pass out a huge thank you to the whole finnish Aces High community. Schutt and I had little more to do then go ahead and buy the plane tickets. Everything after was planned out and taken care of by someone. Amazing hospitality and friendship brough forth towards virtual strangers.... or should I say virtual friends and RL strangers? Not only the weekend of the Spring Meet in Lomasaari, but a whole 10 days vacation in Finland that was filled with great memories for me.

Sasmox and crew for organising an awesome weekend, Camo giving us a guided tour through the Tikkakoski Finnish Air force museum including a "private exhibition tour" with the director, Grendel trying to move heaven and earth to get us to see the Hurricane Mk1 (I still dont understand why they dont want tourists with cameras in Area51 ), a very personal and different city tour in Tampere with Grendel and Wasq, Bizmans introduction into finnish Saunas for me... and the list goes on.

A very special thanks go to Wasq, Panzzer and their family. They had offered the small house on their farm for us to live in, Wasq showed (and drove) us around as our personal tourist guide. A not expected, but gratefully accepted hospitality - paljon kiitoksia!!

You don't require much..

Definition:
outhouse, privy, earth-closet, jakes
a small outbuilding with a bench having holes through which a user can defecate

Ill start adding captions as soon as I find the time, to put a name to the places.
The pic you linked to is an old barn on the farm of Wasqs parents (same as the tractor).

And yes, Finland is a VERY beautiful country. Well worth a visit any time of the year!

 You have to look at the other peoples pics, she is in a couple of those. It looks like you folks had a really good time Schatzi; & that Flakpanzer oil looked thicker than Jägermeister

Schatzi....I wouldn't have expected otherwise from our Friends in the Finnish Community of Aces High.  It has been my  great experience and pleasure to interact with them in the Community for almost 8 years.  They are a good group of people.  Polite always as well as cordial.  Living in the US time zone doesn't get me a lot of opportunity to fly with them but have done so on a few occaisions in scenarios.  I always felt most welcomed.

They are outstanding members of the Aces High Community.
