Robert Rosenthal -- RIP
« on: April 29, 2007, 08:02:33 PM »
A true "greatest generation" pilot passed away.  He was a B-17 pilot in the "Bloody 100th" who epitomized the thousands of young Americans who put their careers aside to volunteer for a possible one-way ticket to combat.  I didn't know that he was also selected as one of the prosecutors at Neuremburg.  He had left a Manhatten law firm to enlist after Pearl Harbor.

Prayers go out to his family for one of the greatest combat pilots ever.

Fair skis and tailwinds forever.
