3 observations to note being fairly new to this game

1. Float says nobody porked ords, nobody porked troops..................well what is the percentage of players who even know how to identify ords and troops to pork it and if you can identify where to bomb it succesfully. I could make an attempt, successfull i dont know. Thing is there are so many facets to this game to learn there may be a small amount of players who know and been on long enough to strategically know what to do. I am finding myself wanting to do strategic moves in this game to help, but am limited by experience.

2. Eny really hurts a newer player or one that is just understanding certain rides. With me i am getting comfortable in certain planes to help, but when that eny kicks in high i really suck at those high eny planes. It does get frustrating to not be able to fly the plane you are/have spent alot of time trying to learn.

3. Missions are tough to do at times floats. I understand teamwork and all, but i will log on to practice certain things or have a goal in mind to try and accomplish for that night, joining a mission may not be one of them. I have joined missions to help and put in a situation of doing a task i have no idea how to do, either haven't practiced or never heard of it before. I have done well and i have screwed the pooch so to speak. Oh and i have heard the tirades and rants of those people of experience just cream a guy for not doing what he was supposed to do in a mission. That at times may turn people off to missions.

Oh and Floatsup you are really one of the players that shows a newer player how to do something he may not know how to do. I have been on that end so Thank You

Hey thanx dood.
Appreciate it.
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

Krusty a lot of the steam rolling would padded out if these small maps werent so crowded.

We need two arenas with ALL the maps in rotation.

Well tonight Bish had 2x the number of knits, and ***3*** times the number of rooks, and were frakking steamrolling everything on the knit front in LW Blue. 25+ lanc missions at 17k+, missions with 20+ p47Ns with F4u4 escorts on top of that...

And they only had an ENY of 5.6.

I'm ALL FOR corrections. Unlike some folks I LIKE the idea of ENY.

IT JUST AIN'T WORKING! Make it frakking STRICTER!

Such BS is why folks log off. Case in point myself. Good night.

krusty

last night in LW orange: bish were almost 2x outnumbered by knits and rooks individually (bsih 55..knits 90...rooks 90) last night

we were pushed back to our uncapturables by the knits and the rooks were rolling us as well and owned about 5 bish bases....

also the rooks were really stupid and even though the knits owned to their uncapturables were still trying to roll the bish???

we had about 14 BoPs on so we porked all the rook frontline troops and organized some missions which resulted in taking 3 knit bases back....

i do wish troops stayed down as long as they used too...im all for the increased field ack but 10 barracks at a large field really requires a coop mission and then they seem to pop up fairly quickly....seems to hurt the outnumbered country more than the aggressor..

Now a problem was the other night when i was in the arena with a bish advantage and got a pm from STANG "hey the bish are getting rolled in LW blue...why dont you and the bops come over and stop them"

i pm'd back "sure sounds like a challenge" but when we went to switch arenas the caps prevented entry into the arena...

all that being said i really dont mind the current setup...overall pretty fair with some nights being bad..but i remember MONTHS of bad nights when there was only one MA and the country ganging was in full force...

Yep, I was on LAST night too in LW Blue.  Bish ~50, Rooks and Knights ~95-100 each.  Bish down to 7 bases.  I had a blast (and a reasonably good night).

I got to play in a BF-110G2, F6F-5, N1K2, P-51D, Spit V, Spit IX, Yak-9U, Sherman and maybe a few more I'm not recalling.  It didn't seem to matter what I was flying I was having reasonable success.  I even out-dueled a 190-D9 and a LA-7 in the BF-110 in seperate 1 on 1's during the same flight (admittedly they weren't the best pilots but who knows going in)!

Much more fun than fighting with my countrymen over one scrap of food.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Yep - I was on last night after FSO and I was in Blue. We, (the Knights) were one V Base away from winning the war at one point until our usual lack of co-ordination and some resolute defending at V65 undermined us.

Sure it would be better if each country had even numbers, but sometimes those desperate last-ditch defence scenarios create some great battles. Last night was a case in point.

Our ENY was way over 20 for much of the night, but it didn't really bother me. The choice to stay was mine and I did have the option of switching to Orange at any time.

I'm sure that if the bish needed more oil they could squeeze it out of your hair.

Hey, just because the Bish had twice the numbers doesn't mean they are twice as good. 3 or 4 rooks could have fought them off by themselves. :p
