Sound cards
« on: July 09, 2007, 06:23:29 PM »
Just looking for a little advice on soundcards.. I have a Realtek HD built into my computer.. but it seems to be onboard.  I have an old Turtle Beach Santa Cruz and a Creative Soundblaster Audigy HD sitting around, should I stick with the Realtek or switch to one of the others?

Use a dedicated sound card. Built-in card take more CPU cycles to run them than a dedicated card. Dedicated card should give you better performance.
