HD audio mic problems
« on: July 26, 2007, 05:15:42 PM »
Just built a new high end gaming system. Load up the game and plays great, but my vox wont work.

Are there known issues with HD adudio cards and this game? All normal games sounds are fine, just no one can hear my when I talk.

Makesure in the Windows volume control panel that u have the mic muted under playback.  Then select record properties by hitting options at top left and select properties.  Then select record.  In here u want to makesure the mic is selected.  Now if the mic is not there then u have to add it to the list when u select properties.

tune to yourself while in game (.radio 5 USERNAME) "USERNAME" of course being your in-game call sign, and see if you can hear yourself.  if you CAN.. then its a routing/port forwarding problem..  if not, check your MIC again./
