Its looking good Roger. Don't worry about the boobies, there's already a fair bit of flying porn in the game. Quite a lot of it is mine. :)

OK Rogerdee, I'm gonna be picky.  The code letters are too thick and the rear letter is tucked under the horizontal tail.

The tail stripes look a bit too narrow on the horizontal tail as well.  I'm curious as to where you got the info on this bird as I can't find it.

Last but not least.  You made a comment that it should be a C model.  Where did you see that.  Don't know of any 9th AF groups that had C models.  It would be a D

And it appears that it was just the canopy frame that was blue not down onto the fuselage as you have it.  Other photos of 510th FS, 405th FG birds show just the canopy frame painted in the squadron color as well.

this may not be that your olive drab color is inaccurate but against the green terrain i have had a nightmare time getting my own olive drab skins to look right they all look too brown to me i been slowly trying to add more green to em without adding too much.

I'll dogpile.  Shading around the cowl flaps and wing flaps is too dark or doesn't look quite right.  Wing flaps should not show any shading, as the upper surface of the flap tucked in underneath the wing skin above the spar in front of the flap area (i.e. the top surface of the flap (in the retracted position) was flush with the wing skin.  Ailerons should be the only thing with shading on the wing.

The blue highlights are too bright.  I would change the opacity to make them look a little more dull.  Same with the blue in the insignia--too deep a blue IMO.

Last, the serial numbers on the tail--either the font is too wide, or the numbers got blurred on the edges--looks fuzzy.

now thats more like it he he

ok well the easy answer first the star and bar is the standard d11 one used on the default skin ok so i cheated ill admit it.

the shadow on the flaps i got to remove it was from wiked rabbit skin,i didnt notice i cocked up the hood i guess when you look at something to long u dont notcie it.

the serial number looks ok on the skin but comes out funny in a jpeg!!

as for the drab i got 2 pc and it looks different on both:rolleyes:

ok back to work.
