Agreed.

Some of these guys are really good with the 110, so you shouldn't underestimate it ever.  But it doesn't go up very well.

Thats only true if the 110 engages with the advantage, in an "even" fight the 110 has uphill sledding. But any plane with a nose full of cannon is a threat till its dead. Given the time and situation win the E battle then win the fight....same as vs an A-20. The moment you get cute your riding on the edge since most people dont see either plane flown to the edge very often its hard to give them proper credit. In the end the other plane is just a target if you can get on top of it and stomp the guy on the head. Thats what makes the 109's so deadly in the AvA...for the most part they own the verticals.
