I cant wait til Wed to get the stick and throttle...LOOK OUT "VETS" HERE COMES THE NOOB!!!!!!!!!! J/K

Sir you have my respect.. You are showing that you use that brain :)  When I first downloaded AH I started playing with it off line and learned most of what I needed to know befor I ever logged onto the MA, though I started out with a stick.

this has got to be the best advice for a noob, try it offline and find out a stick is worth it, go get said stick and then you won't be waisting the 2 free weeks. :)

Most people starting the game dont want to read the manual, they just want to get up and fly. I'll help a guy get started. The new guy has to understand though, that the other players are trying to play a game too. There is a limit to the number of questions before people start to get irked.

The funny thing is though, more people get riled over "How do I start my engine?", than they do the "Nice HO!", WTG Rammer!", crap we see every 10 seconds on 200.

For me, that's because it shows me that this person hasn't bothered to look at the available information on how to use the software he has downloaded. While I don't get 'riled'...I do go into ignore mode.
