Shore Battery Turret Speed

Zoomed out, you can pan full right to full left in about 3 seconds.  Zoomed all the way in, it takes about 40 seconds?  Bug, design flaw, or product feature we should feel lucky to have? :D

Same with the fleet turrets. Its been like that since I can remember.

I'm not sure if this was they're intention but, if the turret view moved as fast zoomed in as it did zoomed out, you wouldn't be able to track on anything.  Everything would be a blur going that fast zoomed in.  At least that's the way it was with the 5" gun optical sight when I was in the Navy.
