Yes its free now. did u log in on the website steve and buy it if so just log into the game and see if it works .

BTW, Steve, Make sure that you stay in a battle room even after your sunk, until it's over. That way you get your Prem. bonus, which is 1000 extra credits, I think.

Eww thanks for the info Frode... didn't know that.

I could not log in tonight.  I'd get no response from the server when trying to log in.  I worked from my house much of the day so had it on quite a bit with no trouble.  Then tonight was playing and it said lost server... could never get back on.  Waaah.

On Wednesday's they pull their servers' down for maintenance, upgrades, patches, etc. Takes an hour or two. Usually TNF will spam-announce it in text.
 
Check everything when you do get back on, though. If it's an upgrade to fix something important, you might log back on and find out you don't have any guns on your ship, or the armor has all been removed, or any of a number of other things.

And you really don't have to stay all the way in a battle until it's over; You get your Prem. bonus in 5 min. from the start of the battle, win or lose, afloat or sunk.
