Al Queda only has to hang on for 12 more months until a democrat is elected and "redeploys" the troops to "end the war", then Al Queda can go on to win the war.

after the democrats "ended the war " in Vietnam the war lasted two more years until the south was defeated.

ask that question 20-30 years from now, maybe longer. if your running on a full set of cylinders you know the fight against islamist extremists is a generational war, but the answer of who won by that time depends a tremendous amount on what we are doing now. if we follow mubarack hussein osamas suggestion of pulling out of Iraq ASAP, the answer we ultimately get will be a bad answer.

This makes sense. More troops= more protection for the citizens of Iraq. If the citizens feel safe, they want to keep the peace, not support the people (insurgents) who want to the start the violence back up.

It never ceases to amaze how positive these men are. They don't complain about the their situation. They are proud to serve.

I met Shifty's (XO of 353rd here in AH)boy a couple of times in the last month or so and he was wounded pretty damn bad over there. That kid don't complain! Not one negative word out of his mouth. I got police officers that work with me that piss and moan over getting punched in the eye. LOL you would think they been shot!

These young men and women are the cream of the crop!!!!
