controlls?

Do i have to have a joy stick or can i use my mouse because the joy stick i have wont go into my laptop.

You can use your mouse. Just make sure that you have Mouse selected in the "Map Controller" and have the buttons mapped.

or go to Radio Shack Store and buy you a Gameport/midi port - to - USB port converter ( usually cost between 12.95 to 21.95 )  

a good bit of people here use them,  including me........( on 1 of my daughters  computers, when my might be acting up )
