Zero Tolerance = Zero Good Sense

Yet another example of our country gone insane. Charging 13 year old school girls for starting a school cafeteria food fight with an adult crime is criminal.

Even more bizarre, the ACLU weighs in with some common sense.

"It certainly seems that this was an overreaction to a situation that could have been handled differently," said Linda Burt, Wyoming director of the ACLU.

Zero tolerance laws/rules are the ultimate representation of government extending its middle finger at everyone else.  "You can't be trusted to make any decisions on your own" it says.  "I'm the only person/group who has the knowhow and judgement."

I heard one that is more bizarre. Two ladies where in a road rage fit when one of them threw water on the other ones car. She was charged with chemical terrorism or something like that and received several years in prison. The other lady then felt horrible about the whole thing and could not believe it the sentencing.

Some of these "adults" could use a good old fashioned spanking to bring their egos down a few notches.

Throwing french fries is now *hurling missiles*? Please......

Granted schools can't condone food fights but to charge the kids involved w/ adult crimes is going way overboard.

Actually, the concept of the government taking our salaries and redistributing them under government control is a concept of socialism embraced by the Democrats.   Of course, the intelligencia (the rich Dems) won't be donating their massive salaries.  They will still need to live in splendor.   The Dems want to tell us all how to live, and how much money we need to do it.

88.. it transcends party... it is totalitarianism..  all big government is that..

The democrats have more... way more.. than their share of "zero tolerance"  look at hate crimes and PC and gun laws and such.   "child abuse" and "spousal abuse"

in the end... all big government is the same.. if you don't like it they will drag you out of your home in the middle of the night and shoot you.

The only answer is less government.

facism... socialism.. commies whatever.. makes no difference at all...they are all the same.. they all incarcerate or/and execute those who are harming no one but who are acting as individuals.    They see individuals as a threat.
