Training Question
« on: February 07, 2008, 04:33:11 PM »
Is there anyway for me to become part of the Training Corps?I'm not the best pilot but I can keep any new comers or even advanced people occupied. I know the game have been playing for about, 2 years so I would just like some info. Also I do enjoy spending my Aces High 2 time in the training (Occasionally MA). So please Reply Thanks.

You have nothing to loose by PMing Murdr. He runs the show.

actually, as Spatula said, can always send a PM to Murdr.

prerequisite:
  • Knowledge and ability to convey knowledge to others, correctly
  • have to be well received by the Aces High Community
  • minimal 3 Years of online in-game playing time ( very very few exceptions )
  • have to be at least 18 years old ( preferred 25 or older )
  • most who ask are put at bottom of the list
  • All Current Trainers actually vote ( agree or dont ) on all new Trainers
  • This is NOT for those who want their name in LIGHTS, or EGO driven individuals
  • best way to get there, is to help individuals by volunteering , and answer questions, if you do well, and make good post in the "Help & Training" Forum, it will be noticed, and all Trainers & your Peers/Pillars will give you a "GOOD" thumbs up.....

not trying to be harsh, just letting ya know how the steps go, .........

everyone has the right to help, and volunteers are always welcomed, and Murdr, along with all other Trainers will notice your good deeds....

"When one considers just what they should say to a new pilot who is logging in Aces High, the mind becomes confused in the complex maze of info it is necessary for the new player to know. All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC

Talented amateurs are always appreciated. Especially if they make sure to always give the correct info, and defer to trainers if ones around.

All you don't get are the headaches, complaints, and problems.

As Ghosth said, you don't have to be official trainer to help those who need assistance.

It's actually better that way. You can chose when and how you help. You get all the best parts, without the extra responsibilities official trainers have.

Win/win if you ask me...

hmmmmmmm all this time i thought TC lead the Training Corps. silly me

tails80 dont let this get to you. some folks go way past 3 years before they get in the Training Corps. Its always nice to see folks helping out new players to this game.

good example is i put on an A20 training section with my squad last night and a few others that where in the Training Arena taged along. even made a film out of it for others that ask how to use an A20. was a good class had a big turn out. at the end several walked away knowing how to use the A20. not many was able to hit their targets but with time that will improve.

anytime you can give back to the community is awesome reguardless if you have a Training Corps tag or CM tag. most people in the community will reconize that and give you props for it. keep up the good work bro Salute
