joystick needs constant recal and....
« on: February 17, 2008, 07:22:48 PM »
every time I log into AH I need to do a recalibrate on my stick.  This just started in the past month or so.  Also, "auto select mode at start of flight" is constantly in need of being rechecked.  this is also a recent development.

Any ideas as to why this is happenin?

It's either worn out pots or sensors. Which stick you using?

logitek aviator twisty.  the stick works fine but Im getting tired of having to recalibrate after every log in and checking the advanced stiock setting to make sure the auto select mode check box is checked.  I never used to have to do this........

sounds like your stick settings file is set to "read only" in stead of "read and write". So in stead of saving when you set it, it just returns to the old setting each time you log out.
