Fuel Tanks

I don't know if anyone has suggested this so if not, I would like to see the option of switching fuel tanks if one is hit (unless it is actually fuel line hit rather then the tanks itself) so an non-damage one so once the fuel runs out of the damaged one, you can still fuel in others rather then all leak out

Also, if you have fuel on default, it will automatically switch when you drain that tank.

Unless you only have the ONE tank left... then you're out of gas entirely (nothing to switch to) and done for.

I usually check the damage list when I take a fuel hit to see which tank it is, then switch to that tank until it's drained.  That way I will get as much use out of it as possible.

Like Krusty said though, if you only have one, call ASR..

Planes NOT to get fuel leaks in:

109s
p-47Ds (unless you saved the aux like I do)
las
spits (range is just too short to lose either tank)
F4Us without wing tanks

Carry the little DT, and don't use it until you get a fuel leak. That's what I do if I know I'm going into a fight that I know I'll take significant damage.
