Oops, I replied to the wrong post initially, where someone was requesting that another plane fly out to where you've landed and refuel you.

On the topic of instant resupply- it's incredibly gamey. At the very least, it should take, IMO, 30 seconds (as it is on the rearm pads), or longer.

This particular suggestion is meant only to allow people to rack up higher stats per sortie. They can already exit and replane with the desired loadout in the matter of a few seconds, so I don't see what this would add in terms of gameplay.

HT himself said it wouldn't happen, a while back.

Moot....the problem with pronouns...define "it"

and hubs I agree...either make gvs 30 sec. or fix my plane...
as for gameplay...personal reasons...taxiing into and out of the rearm pad without clipping a building or snapping a landing strut, then haveing to take off again...adds a little challenge..

I would not say things like repairing body parts.
maby simple damage tho, such as oil/coolant leaks/guns.

and even that, should come with a 3-5 min wait.

If they realy want it that badly, they can wait.
If its a real hot area, they will probably get vulched anyhow.

im not suggesting that the rearm pad "heals" you(if you will) but just gives you options on what you would like to rep with

I suggested this ealy last year.... I still think it's a fantastic idea.

NO DAMAGE to be fixed at re-arm pads.. just selection of fuel load-out.

I'd even be happy with no option to load additional ordinance.

EG: If you took off with bombs and rockets you have the option to load both, one or none

Same with fuel, if you took off with a DT you have option to load or not to load it (removing the rail, if not? I'm not sure about that one... time factor involved) and choose your fuel load-out.

I dont know about certain things.. for example, most aircraft need parts added to them to carry bombs & DT's. But, as far as ammunition/gun loadouts and internal fuel loadouts go, Id love to have this implemented.

Plane repair isn't on HT's todo list, and different loadouts probably aren't either.  I had asked him about the latter during a Q&A session years back, and his answer was "We won't be doing that".
