An odd request: A C-47's History?
« on: March 07, 2008, 04:17:48 AM »
In this video (click) at about 5:52, the find a downed C-47 with the tail numbers clearly visible.

I'm headed off to bed now, so I'm not exactly awake enough to Google it. I was wondering if someone had any kind of past on this airframe or even how it ended up there.

Thanks in advance. :)

EDIT: Yeah, I didn't go to bed...being sick sucks.

Wow, thanks a lot. :D Good reading.

It's sad to see that someone would actually come upon a wreck out there and shoot it. If I saw that, I'd be in too much awe and thought of the past to think about even touching the poor bird, much less shoot it!
