Memorial to famous P38 Hero Vandalized!!! Crap!

First, let me thank you for your graceful reply.  From what you've written I can see that you're passionate about what you do and I apologise for the pictures I posted earlier (I'll delete them).

Yes, I have hunted and eaten what I've killed. But not to to the scale of 1300 geese a year. That's a hell of a lot.

To me, it was clear looking at the picture that you had posted that there was a lot of pride that was taken in bagging those geese.

My point still stands: I believe you don't hunt them primarily to feed the homeless. You hunt them because you like hunting for the sake of hunting. The pictures you posted have that written all over them.  All I'm asking you to do is to be honest with yourself.

It's not about how many geese you bag, it's your attitude towards the killing which concerns me.

Can always send the hunters to Iraq or Afganistan since they like shooting so much. Must be a few soldiers in Iraq/Afganistan who would gladly change places.

Milo,

Many of them are already there.

The rural areas of the United States are bastions of hunting, shooting, and the Second Amendment.   A much larger proportion of the sons and daughters of those areas volunteer to serve their country in the military than do the urban areas.  They grow up shooting and hunting.

There appears to be a direct correlation between one's familiarity with shooting, hunting, outdoor lifestyle, and the willingness to serve in the armed forces.

Regards, Shuckins

Because they found his body with his uniform and sword in the bomber
which you can still see in the jungle.  It wasn't a whole squad, it was 4
guys in the "Killer" flight with the rest providing cover.

I'm still waiting for you to post anything worth reading, but I'm not
holding my breath.  I find it difficult to believe that anyone would quote
"TV" as a primary source about ANYTHING history related.

Oh yeah, they gave the body a state funeral in Japan, maybe someone
might have noticed it wasn't Yamamoto, ya think?

Quite correct, Mitchell the leader of the bunch and was flying top cover with the other 38's

The druggies cut the plaque up into pieces before fencing it. This is a common occurrence all over. My company had $15,000.00 worth of material stolen in one week. This was just 2 weeks ago. You are not allowed to put anything on or inside your fence that might hurt the criminal.. that is against the law. You can put armed employees on duty. One of the offices told me "just don't get all Joe Horn". Joe Horn is an individual who caught 2 illegals burglarizing his neighbors home in Pasadena Texas. He called 911 and got his shotgun and told them he was not going to let them hurt him but he must stop them. You can hear the shots on the 911 tape. He killed them both. Turns out they both had long criminal records. One of the crooks fiance was shown on the news crying and saying what a great guy her fiance was.... lol trash begets trash.

Hope they catch the scum that stole that plaque. It's sad but because there are so many that make excuses for those types.... it probably won't be recovered.

I find It Hilarious that Folks that participate in a simulation of COMBAT < which I may add involves KILLING OTHER HUMANS> have the gall to point out the flaws in someone else because they Hunt in real life. If it so morally outrages someone that killing for food or pest control upsets them, wouldnt it follow logic that that person would not want to be involved in a simulation of killing PEOPLE <Blood included>  :confused
I smell a Hillary Clinton foot print near by , then again it may just be my smelly feet :devil
You dragged the dead horse into the yard and handed out the bats, sir.

This thread is so last-year. The funny thing is, that even after all that time, they wanna hijack this thread. Hunting has jack-shit to do with Methies' stealing monuments, either in 2007 or 2008. It's a damn shame, really...The guy died fighting to give them freedom, and this is how they gave back.
