Caused my Vertical sync with the monitor.  Turn this option off and you'll get higher numbers, but may have tearing.

As Fulmar mentioned most people have V-Sync on  Having it off can cause screen tearing and artifacts.  Not a good idea to have it off, and nope a monitor can't have a refresh rate that high :D.

The highest refresh I've seen is maybe 120Hz IIRC, but only achievable at lower resolutions like 800x600.

I'd like to see what you get on the unltimate test...

FSO take-offs.

screen tearing usually is more predominant when your using the hat to look left and right out of the cockpit then you'll see.

Yup.  I've found it to be somewhat dependent on the game as well.  I used to play some FPS games competitively and we all used tweaked configs, most people ran V sync off.

What's the point if your monitor is still displaying 60fps regardless?

FSO take-offs.

 :lol

Ain't that the truth. As an Admin CM we try to spread everything out to allow the forces to use as many fields as possible. Sometimes, there are certain instances where mass uppings can't be avoided, especially in CV events.

The best thing to do for every FSO is wait, talk it out with the other CO/XOs in the tower and try to spread out the launches. Let a squad clear the deck or runway before rolling your own  :salute
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!
