Found a couple bees this evening.

Not sure if they're the species that is dying off, but they were at least doing the polinating/harvesting thing..

Cool pics.  How close did you have to get?

Those are bumlebees.  While they do pollinate, their hives usually only have about 100-200 bees in them.

It is the honeybee that is dying off.  Their hives have tens of thousands of bees in them and do the vast majority of good pollination.

Thanks.  About 3 or 4 inches away on some. I have a 90MM Tamron Macro f2.8 lens.
