I want to go boating with you! Wowza! (Cat whistle here)

On a serious note, how to you start on one of those surf wake boards, and how fast do you go? That looks like a perfect thing for my boys and I to practice before we go to Hawaii in Feb for surfing lessons....

We are going around 9mph with the malibu WS 24v. We also use a shorter board that is around 5.2 for me. Its a blast for us old men because most of the falls are more comical than a wipeouts. The sweet spot with the malibu is around 4 feet so after you learn its pretty easy not to use the rope.

Been trying the no rope 360 but i am having a hard time staying in the sweet spot and not drifting back.

THks, how do you start off? deep water start, or off the swim step?
