PVC pip sim chair: help
« on: July 22, 2008, 01:00:21 AM »
G'day all,

I've just purchased a very nice LCD TV and it looks absolutely fantastic.... It's 46" and I'm finding it difficult to resist the temptation to plug my computer into it and play Aces High.

Rather than have to unplug and move the computer every time I want to use the computer for something other than gaming I would like to construct a portable 'Sim chair' that I can have my keyboard, mouse and (of course) my X52 stick and throttle set  up on.

I saw a photo of a particularly clever AH player who had set up some sort of chair with PVC piping around it that had positions for at the least the stick and throttle (and a beer holder  :lol :aok ) and I am searching for that photo and hopefully any info if the gentleman who is responsible for it reads this.

All of the cables were fed through the PVC pipes and it was a very tidy looking set-up that looks like it would be exactly what I need.

I've tried a search for this but, as you can imagine, words like 'cockpit' and 'sim' turn up an impossibly large amount of results.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers lads.
