Is almost everything we watch on TV is a lie?
« on: August 13, 2008, 09:25:40 AM »
Do you think so?... I mean of course if they say stuff like "heavy traffic", and "flood warning", then it's true because of mother nature, but stuff like "The explosion was caused by a fuel line", would you think that's the truth? Maybe it's just me, or maybe I watch too much movies about our government.. Most notably "Transformer". What if there really is a giant machine locked up somewhere in the U.S... :P

There are three sides to every story. The news media reporting it only gives you their side of it. With photoshop and other technologies, it's getting harder to beleive my own eyes anymore. It seems as if everyone is pushing some kind of agenda and they do so both in news and entertainment venues.
"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

Dont trust anyone who has lied to you before. Best way to put it. If they REALLY dont want you to know the truth, chances are the truth is far worse.

Here lie these men on this sun scoured atoll,
The wind for their watcher, the wave for their shroud,
Where palm and pandanus shall whisper forever,
A requiem fitting for heroes

I was watching Repo Man on the boob tube the other night.
Kinda reminds me of Jerry Springer show with a different twist!
