Smiling Bob and his stupid commercials
« on: August 27, 2008, 02:00:34 PM »
Hopefully this will mean the end to the stupid "Smiling Bob" commercials.  Unless they have changed the legalese to indicate that the product really does not work.

CINCINNATI -- A man convicted of defrauding customers seeking male sexual-enhancement supplements has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Steve Warshak also was ordered to pay $93,000 in fines for his convictions on 93 counts of conspiracy, fraud and money laundering. His company, Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals, and other defendants were ordered to forfeit more than $500 million.

U.S. District Judge S. Arthur Spiegel also sentenced Warshak's mother, Harriet Warshak, to two years in prison. She was convicted of conspiracy and other charges.

The company's main product, Enzyte, which promises sexual enhancement, has ads featuring "Smiling Bob," a happy man with an exaggerated smile.

LOL!

Wonder who the expert witness for the prosecution was... Guess the Judge's little dick syndrome was not improved.

Now... if we can just get rid of those sweetheart ads....

I can't believe you still use that watermelon in America.... Using those products is just asking for a yeast infection.   :lol  Nasty.

I don't think I've ever seen an add for a sweetheart in Australia. Proper hygiene is all that is required for healthy girl-bits.  :rofl
