What's the best way to clean a Flat Panel LCD Monitor

As the title says.  Does anyone have any tricks to getting a streak free Flat Panel LCD Monitor.

I bought some stuff to do it that was a spray when Compusa was open as a physical store. You might want to try some place like Best Buy, Circuit City, etc... and see what they have. Also the stuff I used came with a microfiber cloth to clean it off the monitor.

A little warm water and a soft cloth does the trick for me.

Both manufacturers of my LCDs (Viewsonic and Hercules) say water and a soft cloth.

It's great for notebook screens and LCDs. Use it with a microfiber cloth.

Don't use anything with ammonia, since it will fog the plastics.

Thanks for posting this. I was afraid to touch my screen. It looked like a ton of cons where coming from all directions until I took a wet cloth and cleaned it.

I bought one from circuitcity by memorex its a round doubled sided thing with a velvet and rag type sides and a spray.  It works to perfection.

I've used the aerosol glass cleaner spray ("Sprayway" brand glass cleaner - white and blue can) that I get at Sam's for the four years I've had mine.  Just spray a little on and clean it off with a paper towel.

No scratches or discoloration or anything.

Do NOT use windex...

only warm water and a soft cloth, its pretty soft plastics used for screens so pretty much anything will react with them.

Not good practice to use anything with alcohol or ammonia on these screens....

A microfiber cloth is very good, even dry. There are several grains, so choose one made for glasses or screens rather than those hairy ones made for floors  For stains just a little moist like your breath can help, since they (hopefully) consist of dried saliva spread by a "check six" yell.

I was also very satisfacted to the results of 'AM One Touch Screen Cleaner'-kit, where the microfiber is stretched on a soft stick and assembled on a handle. Guess the large flat surface helps avoiding stripes. It also includes some cleaning fluid.
