fun fights to remember
« on: September 11, 2008, 05:06:11 AM »
I know someone started a thread about memorable 1vs1's in the MA's, but there are just as many memorable fights involving 1 vs many or many vs many, so on and so on.

Here is one that happened to me last night (or rather this morning was up way too late   ;) ). It's a 3 vs me with some of the best scissoring I have been able to pull-off since starting in AH.

<S> to those in the poniesfor providing me with sucha a fun fight. It was a blast and left me awake for several more hours afterward (obviously since I am typing this in weeee hours of the morn).

bear in mind though I have not flown the KI84 much at all and very little dogfighting. not much skill coming from me in film butlots of luck that sortie

Anyway here it is

add more and post films too if you have them. I for one love to watch a good fight even if I am not in it.

Nice fight DF, almost seemed like you could have got one more kill. Good throttle management and use of barrel rolls. The ki is a tough bird and one of my favorites even if I don't fly it that often.

I forget to roll film most of the time myself but I do have a few that stick in my mind as fun.

thnx A8TOOL There were definitely some parts of fight that I could have had probably pushed into another kill,  at least seemed like I was going to while in the fight. I have been trying to become more conscious of throttle management especially and I think it has saved me more than once.

your links all lead to the complete file list on your account, so I'm not sure which ones who were leading to. I did locate the rocket trainer and awards (these were no brainers) but not sure of the other one.\

I too forget to roll film alot but I seem to remember more now that I have it mapped to controller.

edit: after downloading a few I think you were talking about the one titled me and death. which was a great film to watch,I never last that long when low with that many cons.  :rock

I'll have to look into it and see what I can do to change that.

Thanks.
