The bill the democrats tried to fly by had inadequate controls, no acceptable oversight and a pile of pork.. including 20 billion for Acorn. House republican leader John Boehner said 'we're not signing this' and McCain said 'He's right'.

20 Billion for Acorn.. canvassing prisons, homeless shelters, bars, barrios, slums... political activists with an agenda. To be skimmed off by your opportunistic scurvy democratic leadership from the public funds.

Pelosi, Reid, Obama.. you guys really have no lowest level, do yah?

The first one was bad, Hang, but if anything, the new one was worse...The oversight was increased, but not very much, or enough that it couldn't be skirted. The 'pork' was hugely increased...The house/senate republicans' heard 'tax cuts' and they jumped on the bandwagon, without even reading the text of the matter. Tax cuts' for people who make wooden practice arrows??? For Puerto Rican Rum manufacturers??? It's absurd as hell...And we still face the prospect of the initial bailout not really being enough money to help all the institutions' that are in trouble. In effect, some will get help, some won't.

Fang.. I am not thrilled with what America has become either but we do have the best system out there.. the only constitution that is for the people..  if we would use it as it was intended.   

I fear osamabinbiden and a total house and senate democrat regieme appointing judges more than I fear any other policies of theirs.

The only thing that seperates us from a "union" with your-up or the UN is our constitution.
