That's not a sim, that's a game.

Been playing NF for many years.  I remember back in the day when people said "ooooo a CA!"  :)

I liked the game a lot more then...now people have such powerful ships/accurate gunners that you get 1 shotted from across the map by a super-yamoto/montana.

Oh well, still a fun pass-time...and free if you don't mind the slower experience growth.

heh... that's where i went when i took my extended break from AH.  Major account is on MO as Bwoopsy.. haven't played since sept/oct... need to check in now and then.

it's a "game"   and only a mediocre one at that, but it was mindless fun grinding up the ship trees.  now if they had gfx like even HTC's ships...  then they'd have something. there's a ton of dedicated naval weenies out there desperate for a naval sim.  (skip the subs)

Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.

Yeah, that's my gripe about the NF. A year ago there were far less and now it's infested by very high level ships. It's hard to get by as lower tier BB. The first three tiers are basically food most of the time and exp is quite slow, especially because it's hard to get any meaningful attack. Thankfully third tier BBs are at least a bit capable, not so horrible as the first two.

It's a bit better with CVs.. at least it's possible to do something with the bombers.

Subs are quite fun whenever a brainless ship comes by. Unfortunately many have learned to stay away from subs, either by being smart or got sunk enough times to get the point.

They said there will never be subs. Never say never  :D

Shane,

Oh, you're Bwoopsy. I've seen you there. I think you were the most pissed off BB I've ever sunk with sub. It was Nelly I think.

probaby not me. i played only a handful of games after the subs came out and don't recall being sunk by one.  doubt it'd have pissed me off at that point since i was already firing up AH again.  Have't used nelly in a long time.. why bother when i have L2?

My CV's:   YT = AcesHigh  and Essex = AcesHigh2   :aok
