Ardennes Weather
« on: December 01, 2008, 07:17:11 PM »
I saw in another forum that a CiC was trying to get a feel of the visibility conditions.

First of all, there is a custom cloud system that is very thick Clouds from varying altitudes to the deck. It is located mostly in the Ardennes GV base area.

The Fog Visibility will be at 12 Miles.

Custom color settings will be changed to give a more realistic overcast while keeping visibility up. The following Color settings will be changed to the listed numbers.

FogDay -  130/130/130
LightDay -  192/192/192
SkyDay -  153/153/153
SunDay -  192/192/192

Thanks to Dux and Baumer.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Nef, is that what Tuk was looking for in the Terrain Editor forum?

If any of you guys want the actual cloud file to practice offline with, I can post it in the Films and Screenshots forum for you to grab. We can attach files in that forum. Let me know and I'll post it. :aok

To clear up some confusion: you do not need to download the weather file for the actual FSO frame; that will occur automatically.

You only need this external download if you want to practice offline under the conditions and settings of the actual frame.
