<S> I had a trio of B26s this week so there was a bit to go around.
The attacks were, generally speaking, of a pretty high order this week. A 262 flown by Jennifer got right amongst us without being seen! Great attack, but shooting let her down.
A bunch of 262s made some serious attacks. Ystur16 cleaned up my first drone but got a smoky engine for his trouble. DamnName, Temo89 and Sqwigly all pressed their 262s in but also ended up leaving with smoke trails.
Then came big trouble!
Sethbag made a beautiful diving attack taking out my number one plane and leaving me with a smoking engine on the last. I pinged him but the A8 is built tough and showed no damage.
Sloehand came down in a text book vertical assault and took the wingtip off my last 26. I was trying to steer it close enough to the field to at least throw my bombs out. Another 262 came past, East I think, and continued by. I couldn't shoot really from the crippled plane. I'm not sure, but I think he went straight past and beat me to the ground.
I threw out the bombs now and raced them to the ground. We all hit a hangar together.
I jumped in and gunned for a few seconds for SD67 getting smoke trails from 2 more 262s, BigCat and Pounder.
I grab a tank and drive around for a bit and who shoots me? Sloehand again!
Well after that I did a fair bit more in gvs and kept trying to make a dent in Tigers with M8s. No joy. It was fun though.
My scalp was shared but truly the attacks from Sethbag and Sloehand were brilliant. WTG!
