Good modern air combat game?

I got a new rig for x-mas with much better hardware than my old rig. Best part is that I have them both hooked up to each other with one set of keyboard and screen via a KVM switch. Now that I can run AH with NO lag (no more losing on-the-deck fights because of a lag spike!! ) and even run World In Conflict PERFECTLY, I'm looking for a good modern jet combat game, preferably with multiplayer support, and preferably a lower learning curve and time investment than Falcon 4. If all I can find is Falcon 4 then I'm just gonna give up on trying to find one.

LOMAC is IMHO terrible. Falcon 4 is probably the best you will get. I'm not much into these types of games, though.

Damn. Not a lot of options there. I guess it's back to buying RTS games for me for a while. Although I rather suck at those... Maybe some FPS games.. No, still suck. I'll figure something out eventually.

I think Widewing posted pics of a Vietnam era sim som while back, and that looked good. Maybe he'll pop in and give some info.
Anyway, - with a grain of salt. Screenshots were nice, I remember.
Falcon looks good, but complicated. Sad really, I used to have fun with these sims years ago.
Too lazy and old for school I guess.....
