Was fun. Pope14 can't figure out that we had no intention of taking the base really. He kept bragging on 200 about how he killed me in the goon. :lol

Torpedoes on the town...bombs on the tower...and troops on the base....right?

Any SAPP night has a historical theme.  Trying to get everyone up in accurate skins for the time or the theater of operations is part of the deal.

The general goal beyond having fun is to get good screen shots of the historic bad guys going down to the correctly marked skin.  Last time was PTO skins looking for Japanese birds.  Next time is most likely an ETO theme looking for LW birds.  IF it's MTO we go after Italian or LW birds, and on one occasion we went after Russian birds because the 82nd FG P38s in the MTO got into a shoot out with Russians planes one time in November 44.

Bottom line though is the SAPPers just want to let folks shoot at 38s and have a good fight
