Great mission tonight!

Salute to those that flew B17's and the lone pony with me tonight!

It was great to see the mission go over successfully, I think total we lost 2 drones and destroyed a butt load of stuff at A165. I would like to see more missions like we had tonight, it was a blast!

Towards the end I had a 262 drop in on me but he only knocked one of my drones out of the sky and then he ran home. I wish he would have stuck around a bit longer. I really wanted my first 262 kill. well there's always next time!

I had bagged 3 or 4 drones (yours was one) and a fighter before someone else got me. Each time I made a pass on a bomber formation I would take some hits, but nothing significant. What I was not thinking about was the cumulative damage. By the time I bagged number 5 or so I took some more brief hits from the bomber formation and then suddenly big parts of my tail was missing.

Was fun.
