White background makes me a sad panda.
« on: June 29, 2009, 04:04:00 PM »
I’m having real trouble with the White parts of my camo, I just can’t seem to get the panel/rivet lines to look right. Also it looks so monotone it’s unreal, even with a greyscale dirt layer.

I would be most grateful for any tips !

What I do it have two sets of rivets, panel lines, and weather for the regular paint and one for the winter part. ( I take it you're doing a winter skin.) Then make the opacity higher so everything stands out the same on both layers.

I think it's sorted now. :aok

I used a different blend mode for the panel/rivet lines, it seems to look rather sweet now. :D
